We design our apparel to last you for years, so we've carefully laid out these best practices for laundry day to make sure your Polar Piece apparel continues to look its best!

Wash your Polar Piece items in Cold Water, and Tumble Dry Only

Our fabrics contain a blend of cotton and polyester, so the fibers will be damaged if they are exposed to high heat in the washer or dryer, and could shrink.  Make sure your dryer has a no heat "tumble" setting, and if not, it is safer to hang dry!

Avoid Bleach or Harsh/Concentrated Detergents

Bleach will discolour your Polar Piece garment, and harsh detergents (like concentrated laundry liquids and Pods) will cause discolouration and weaken the fabric over time.

Zip and Button Them Up First, and Always Check the Pockets

Before your Polar Piece apparel goes into the wash, make sure all the zippers and buttons are done up, and that all the pockets are empty.  Turning the items inside out also reduces the chance that any buttons or zippers could get caught on other garments in the machine.
